This is something I'm also interested in cause I'd like to take on a DIY project of making my own bike. I love hicking a lot and I just messed up my bike before the pandemic started so I haven't gotten a new one yet. I used to go with friends so with the restrictions put in place we were not able to see each other anymore. I came across a review on an amazing vont bike headlight so that's where the idea of DIY-ing my own came from. I'm having a lot of fun finding pieces at the moment, but I would use some help in how the gear connection works. I'm open to any suggestions, just DM me.
