Car catalyst
Car catalyst
Hi to all!
Recently I had problems with the car, the mechanic explained that the problem is in the catalyst. So he replaced it with a new one. I didn’t know what to do with the old catalyst, but obviously not to throw it away. The mechanic suggested a cool catalog where you can find buyers, autocatalystmarket.com/us/en . I didn't know about this before. Maybe someone will need it. Very easy to use. You enter the serial number of the catalyst into the search and find out how much money is offered for it.

Pretty interesting.
Re: Car catalyst
A malfunction is always associated with the fact that the exhaust gases hardly pass through the exhaust system, which has a noticeable effect on the behavior of the car. This happens a lot with Mercedes Benz Convertible Cars. The reasons for incorrect operation and complete inoperability are simple and understandable - catalyst cells or clogged with dirt.

Re: Car catalyst
Can you describe the problem with your catalyst in more detail?
Re: Car catalyst
Hmm ... If your catalyst is defective, then why sell it? The success of such a sale is practically zero ... Perhaps if you sold it for parts, you could benefit from it, but as far as I know, catalysts are not usually sold for parts. In general, to avoid such problems, you need to buy only good and reliable cars and trusted sellers. You can buy a reliable car even in the used car market if you search well. For example, you can use this service https://www.jdmbuysell.com/product/subaru-impreza-3/ for this, where you can find real legends of the automotive industry in excellent condition. I would gladly buy myself such a Subaru, but I just don't have a place in the garage for another car
