Using Thunderbird 13.01 (since upgraded to 14.0) and jdnym, 00.18.001. Thunderbird configured to use jdnym.

Sent an email to a radio station with a comment on a program (nothing to hide here) and ticked the box "send copy to self". For this to happen I had to enter my own email address of course.

Copy came back and imprinted at the bottom was the actual ip of address from where I had sent the email, not the ip address of the exit server.

Unfortunately I do not have a record of the mix I was using.

Should my ip actual address be viewable by the recipient?

If you used Thunderbird, there is no need to send a copy to yourself. A copy of it will be in the sent folder, unless, of course, you had a copy sent to a different email address.

The answer to your question, however: No, your true IP should not be in the header. You must have done something wrong in your configuration. Only the exit node of JonDonym should be listed.

It is recommended to use an email service that replaces your IP with the IP of the email provider. This is an added security measure.

Got it now, my bad! (Hangs head in shame)

Sent the mail from a web link on the radio station page, wasn't using JDFox.

Such is senility!
