I'm a bit puzzled about something...sometimes, when using JonDo--both free and paid services--the connection is cut off. Now this sort of thing happens with VPNs too. However, it does not happen with Tor (as far as I have witnessed).

Why is this? Why is the connection with Tor seemingly "better"? Why can't JonDo replicate Tor in this sense? Severed connections with JonDo premium are, at times, quite problematic for me.

Perhaps there is a way to resolve this issue?

Sure, but there is nothing intentional here. In fact, I can not reproduce your issues and I am using JonDonym the whole day.
Well, first we would need to have some debug output. Thus, if you could surf with debugging enabled and send us the relevant log file if you witness such problems that would be a good start to look into this issue.
