Nein, Truecrypt kann man nicht mehr nutzen, aufgrund der nicht gefixten Bugs. Eine kleine Auswahl an Bugs in der letzten Truecrypt Version, die in Veracrypt gefixt wurden:

Schlußfolgerung: Es ist besser, wenn man Veracrypt verwendet, alte Truecrypt Volumes können damit problemlos geöffnet werden.
Bekannte Bugs in Truercrypt werden nicht mehr gefixt.
