Hi all,

How would JonDonym have reacted to the questions from this link: http://torrentfreak.com/which-vpn-provi ... ly-111007/

1. Do you keep ANY logs which would allow you or a 3rd party to match an IP address and a time stamp to a user of your service? If so, exactly what information do you hold?

2. Under what jurisdictions does your company operate and under what exact circumstances will you share the information you hold with a 3rd party?

JonDonym also has the chance to answer the questions for all to read (see below) and I think somewhere on the JonDonym website information like this is already provided.

"If there are any other VPN providers reading who would like to be included in a future update, please contact us now with direct responses to the questions above"

Regards

Unfortunately you dont get the jist of this do you?

This is an invitation for JonDonym to express themselves on this forum and also participate in a side to side match up with other providers of services such as this.

Your input of 2 links was just as weak as "u can read?"

Regards

JonDos does not keep any logs.

But cascades operator can keep logs, but they only will start logging, e.g. contact to a web server, after a court order, after illegal usages against valid law. (that is different from country to country). The logging is only useful if all operators start logging and the logging will joined together.

JohnHenry.... firm handshake!

I've not used P2P in years and would not expect it to be anonymised, but thanks for that.

It's more a question of the information provided by a VPN service in the "Lulzsec" case mentioned in the link.

Thanks cane.

Regards

I want to keep you up to date: JonDonym was not accepted for the list, because we are not a VPN provider and we do not support P2P filesharing.
