Pakistan prohibits anonymous communication

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has issued a directive to ISPs, prohibiting "all such mechanisms including encrypted virtual private networks (EVPNs) which conceal communication to the extent that prohibits monitoring". (The Express Tribune.) At the moment it is not clear, if JonDonym was affected by the directive. But we ask all JonDoynm users to provide more anti-censorship forwarder to make it possible to avoid a censorship of JonDonym in Pakistan.

Update: The legal notice of the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority send to all ISPs (seen by the Guardian) orders the ISPs to inform authorities if any of their customers are using virtual private networks (VPNs) to browse the web.
